I love this bed! As you can see, I used a box spring to give added height. I prefer a slightly higher level bed. I gave 3 stars for assembly due to the fact that I have arthritis so it was a bit challenging to assemble alone. I read that someone removed or didnt use the wings on the headboard. I wouldnt recommend that since these do give added support for the frame. Overall great product. My granddaughter is already asking for this platform bed for Christmas! ?? ??
I was a little nervous about my order after reading some of the other reviews but honestly I love the bed frame! Its super cute and pretty sturdy! Im not jumping around on it but I do allow my dog in bed with me and it hasnt made a noise. The material is great! The only thing I would change about it is the legs of the frame. I would have liked it to be a bit taller but hey! Less mess to worry about. All in all the assembly was pretty easy, packaging and shipping was great and even a couple of days early! I would definitely recommend this frame!
Deep full size mattress fits perfectly on this bed and the assembled height is perfect for a small 7 year old. It didnt come with instructions but that doesnt hinder if youre a bit savvy with building things. Took about an hour (maybe 90 minutes) to lay out the parts and put together with little helpers. I feel like it should have come with more washers but I had some handy. Overall its a good bed in this price range. Satisfied.
I have been using this frame with a 100 lb mattress since February (it is June now.) I havent really put it through any strenuous activity, but its holding up perfectly so far. And Im no lightweight. The pictures are very misleading however. There are only a few ways the picture could actually represent the item delivered. 1) they put air into the headboard under the material, to make it look fluffy. It is flat as flat can be, but does have a bit of padding. 2) those wings lol if you follow the instructions, they will absolutely not look like the picture. Maybe they attached them in a manner which caused them to extend about two inches more from the headboard than they would if assembled according to the instructions (like holding them out from the headboard as far as they could and using duct tape to hold them up there just for the picture, etc)3) magic4) mirrorsThat said, the assembly was a breeze (less than 30 minutes.) It looks good even with the non-puffy headboard or the tiny wings (I didnt leave them on.) I miss how it should have been really fluffy and cozy, but it is still very good. The slats are well made and one of the best things about this bed frame. They come already connected and you just roll them out onto the frame. The exterior rail of the frame has Velcro and the slats have Velcro on the exterior sides which attach to the Velcro on the frame. Also the slats are flat, not round. I cannot feel them underneath me. I have to stand on the bed to change my lightbulb and it has not failed. I feel like its a very sturdy frame which I will have for at least several years, and it looks good, so totally worth the money.
