Spent much time looking and comparing. Cost and quality were top characteristics. As an afterthought, this rack was one of the best looking. Purchased an additional mini ratchet wrench to get to funny socket angles, cutting assembly time down considerably. In the end, Im glad to recommend the papababe cage and Craftsman mini socket wrench set. Cant see why not to rate five stars.

A friend of mine question the product based on just its brand name, which is seemingly deceptive. It's closer to 11 to 12 gauge in steel and definitely appears to hold up to what its rated. This power rack is well-made and solid. The J channel may seem less appealing when stacked to other j channels from other brands and the welds are visible, but the pieces are "steel-solid." Held over 300 lbs. with no issues other than slight movement to its sides. Came in great condition and installed perfectly with no issues. Also, the overall height of the rack can be reduced to below 83", when you installed the pull up bar upside down. The only issue with this will be the obvious upside-down wide grip pull up bar handles.

The assembly wasnt bad, you could do it with one individual if needed. The sturdiness isnt ideal but for light to medium weight lifting its okay.

I bought this power rack for my grandson, and he absolutely loves it. I was at the mercy of finding a power rack that would fit in his basement. The only cons I have with the rack is the safety pins, I just don't understand why the solid bar going through a pipe. Why not make the wholes bigger and put a larger diameter pin in place.

The only issues I had is 4 of the triangle plates did not line up correctly and its a little out of square; minor issues that I can deal with. Otherwise its exactly what I hoped it would be.
