I bought two, one of which I use for recyclable waste. They look great and have a foot-operated lid with a soft-close mechanism, I'd give them five stars, but the problem is that they don't seem to effectively block out odors.

We use this bucket for kitchen compost. It easily holds a 13-gallon compost bag, and the airtight lid effectively prevents (mild) odors from escaping. We love its foot-operated opening design, which frees up our hands, and the soft-close lid is a great addition! It's easy to install and use, and for a stainless steel bucket, it's very affordable!

I like its size, I especially love its color, and it's made of stainless steel.

I bought this trash can to replace my old plastic kitchen trash can. Not only does it look better, but I also love its removable inner bin design, which keeps the metal bin clean. A 13-gallon drawstring trash bag fits perfectly inside the inner bin and is completely invisible when the lid is closed. The soft-close closure is excellent, and the fingerprint-resistant feature is also very useful.

Very sturdy and durable. The only downside is that the garbage bags are a bit difficult to secure, as you have to roll the bag up to halfway to the lining and then work hard to prevent it from rolling up completely, but we still really like this product.
