Construction difficult

I have done 100s of dyi projects over the course of my life. I found this one annoying. The directions were poorly prepared, you have to be very careful to use
The proper poorly marked material; place it properly and worst of all the pegs are loose and so when doing the initial assembly the materials collapse on you. This was not well thought out. A few minor adjustments would greatly improve the product. When done it is fine.

Wood Cracked Upon Assembly

Nice piece of furniture

It was a little difficult to assemble. The spring hinge that holds the top open was to strong , and kept the top open. I tried putting something on top to hold it down for a couple days hoping it would break in. It didnt work, so I removed it. They should have just put a wire to limit the top from opening to far.
